St. Louis Area Director’s Bio
My name is Amber Price and I am the St. Louis Regional Director. I am married and have a beautiful 5 year old daughter. I have worked for the last 7 years as a unit secretary and a nurse’s aide on the telemetry and neurology units at one of the local hospitals. I want to become a nurse to help the community and hope to make a difference. I plan to graduate in May of 2012, and pursue my BSN.
I am currently enrolled at St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley as a first year nursing student with much to learn. I am involved in our school’s SNA, and think it’s very important to be active in MONSA. My goal is to get more people involved with their local chapters of SNA, and ultimately join and participate in MONSA/NSNA. To be able to participate in something so important is so amazing. We can make a difference!
