Convention Director’s Bio
Hello my name is Lisa Baker and I am the convention director for MONSA. I am a single mother of a wonder 3 year old boy. I enjoy spending time with my son, camping, and spending time with family and friends. I want to become a nurse to help people and make a difference in their life. I want to know that I made a difference and impacted someone else’s life. I have worked in the hospital environment for 5 years as a patient care tech and a unit secretary. I am currently attending my first year of nursing school at St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley and plan on graduating in May of 2012.
I am current involved in my school’s SNA and think it is very important to be involved in MONSA/NSNA. Once I graduate I would like to go farther with it and join MONA. As the conventional director I would like to help educate other student nurses and help them get involved in MONSA. I think that this is an honor to be a part of the MONSA board and I plan on making a difference with my other fellow board members. Please feel free to contact me with any question.
